Northern Brain Injury Association (NBIA)
The Northern Brain Injury Association provides brain injury prevention, education, awareness and support to the rural and remote communities of the northern third of British Columbia. We connect survivors living in these areas to services close to home, and work with communities to reduce the incidence of acquired brain injury through workshops, school presentations, prevention posters and public service announcements. In addition, where support group services are not available, the Northern Brain Injury Association provides training, organizes and facilitates support groups for community survivors.
our groups meet at various times; please see the website for more details www.nbia.ca
