CVHIS promotes the health and well-being of members, and reduces incidences of brain injury in the community through prevention-based education. Support services are confidential and use strength-based, harm reduction approaches. The Brain Injury Survivors Peer Support Group provides an opportunity for survivors to meet for socialization in a peer environment.
Program Eligibility:

The participant should be a resident of the Comox Valley.

The family member/caregiver must provide care to an acquired brain injury survivor (including stroke).

The brain injury survivor must be over 18 years of age (alternative services are available to youth in area).
