Profile
The Fraser Health Concussion Clinic provides early intervention and follow-up services to people who have experienced a concussion/mild traumatic brain injury, helping to manage symptoms and speed recovery. It also provides information about recovery, guidance in returning to daily activities and work, assessment of rehabilitation needs, help arranging community services if required, and consultation with a family physician and other health care providers. A referral is required from a medical professional in order to access the program.
Have your health care professional (i.e. family doctor, ER, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, chiropractor, etc.) fax a referral form to the Concussion Clinic. The Clinic serves individuals age 16 and over who have experienced a concussion, up to six months post-injury (preferably three or fours weeks after the injury), and who live within the Fraser Health region.
Located in: Fraser Health Authority.
