The TIDES Rural/Remote Rehab Team is based out of Sechelt Hospital, but provides service to residents across Vancouver Coastal Health’s rural and remote communities

The program provides short-term rehabilitation and consultation services for clients living with stroke, TIA, acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, non-sports related concussion or progressive neurological disorders.
The TIDES Team consists of a Physiotherapist, an Occupational Therapist, a Speech-Language Pathologist, and three Rehabilitation Assistants.
The TIDES Program integrates virtual service with in-person care to meet the needs of clients across all these rural/remote communities. Appointments may be virtual or in person, either at the local hospital or in the home.
Referrals are required and clients 19+ years of age can be referred from any hospital or healthcare professional. The TIDES Program does not take referrals related to a WCB or ICBC claim.
