On May 1, 2020, March of Dimes Canada took over leadership of Sea-Isle Rehabilitation Services in Victoria, B.C. Sea-Isle has been providing day programs for people living with acquired brain injury for 30 years, and MODC is proud to continue this vital work.Our long history of supporting Canadians living with disability makes us uniquely qualified to deliver Sea-Isle’s programming, and to continue its focus on enhancing social interactions, life skills, and connection to the community.
Sea-Isle Center is an acquired brain injury day program for adults who have survived a brain injury. The service is offered in Langford, British Columbia to consumers across the lower Vancouver Island. Sea-Isle Center encourages meaningful contributions through skills development, nurturing creativity and laughter, practice mindfulness, and increase positive socialization through support, inclusion and kindness.
The program is available Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Funding
Funding is available through Vancouver Island Health Authority’s (VIHA) Brain Injury Program for those that qualify.
